Screenings
Screenings are offered to identify potential communication deficits. After the screening is completed, I will review any recommendations with you. If the screening indicates that further assessment is needed, the cost of the screening may be applied toward the cost of the diagnostic evaluation.

Targeted & Comprehensive Evaluations
Evaluations are performed to determine clients current strengths and weaknesses. After the evaluation you will receive an evaluation report, complete with formal results, informal observations, background information and recommendations.

Individual Therapy
Based on the results of the completed evaluation, I will work to formulate a customized treatment plan to address the areas of concern. Therapy is always based on research in conjunction with the needs and interests of patients.

IEP Consultations
Consultation services are provided to empower parents in navigating the IEP process effectively while advocating for their child’s speech and language needs within the educational setting.
Meet Heather
In 1996 I graduated from Hardin Simmons University with a Bachelor of Behavioral Science degree in Speech Pathology. This began my exciting journey in the field of communication disorders. I had the opportunity to work as a Speech Pathology Assistant in the public-school setting in a suburb of Ft. Worth TX, with children ages 3 to 21 immediately following graduation. During this time, I found my passion, working with children diagnosed with Autism, non-verbal children, and children with severe communication disorders.
In 1999 while working in the school setting, I was given the opportunity to attend Texas Woman’s University’s Cycle Two Distance Learning Masters degree program for Communication Sciences and Disorders.

​In 2002 I graduated with a M.S. in Communication Disorders from Texas Woman’s University. I made the journey back to San Antonio where I have since had the opportunity to provide diagnostic and therapeutic speech therapy services to children ages 1 to 22 in a myriad of settings: public schools, rehabilitation hospital, skilled nursing facility, pediatric home health and in private clinics. Every setting has given me a unique perspective, experience and insight into the provision and delivery of speech therapy services as well as the advantage of growing my diagnostic and therapeutic skills.

I now have the privilege of serving children and their families by providing speech therapy & diagnostic services in an out of the box format. I provide these services to meet the needs of children in their home, a child’s daycare or via teletherapy.
​
When I’m not providing speech and language therapy services you can find me with my children, gardening, baking and working on home improvement projects.
Payment
Rebecca Creek Speech & Language Therapy accepts insurance as well as private pay. Currently accepting Blue Cross Blue Shield & UHC. Certified Tricare provider.
